Bringing modern payments, stablecoins, tokenized deposits, and digital assets to community and regional banks across Montana.
Today, the Montana Bankers Association announced its official endorsement of Stablecore as its preferred digital asset technology provider.
Stablecore will serve the association’s 33 member institutions, helping banks across Montana offer stablecoin and digital asset products, stay competitive and provide added value to current and new customers.
“Customers' expectations for how they access and move money continue to evolve, and Montana banks must meet those expectations while maintaining the trusted relationships that have long defined community banking,” said Sam Sill, President and CEO of the Montana Bankers Association. “By connecting our member institutions with Stablecore’s technology, we’re helping Montana banks explore digital asset offerings in a way that builds on the trust, guidance and protections their customers expect from their financial institution.”
Why this matters
The challenge for depository institutions is understanding and integrating the many complex components needed to support digital asset offerings. Stablecore unifies these critical components, enabling financial institutions to offer digital asset products without changing their technology infrastructure.
What Montana banks can now offer
With Stablecore, member banks in Montana can integrate and provide:
Tokenized Deposits and Assets: Tokenize deposits and support the growing ecosystem of other tokenized assets such as treasuries, loans, securities
Stablecoin Accounts, Payments and Acceptance: Facilitate 24/7/365, instant, GENIUS-compliant stablecoin rails alongside existing payment options
Digital Asset Accounts with On and Off Ramps: Drive greater deposits with digital asset accounts and seamless on and off ramps directly inside existing digital banking experiences
Staking Rewards: Enable clients with eligible assets (e.g., ETH, SOL) to earn staking yield on their holdings
Instant Payments: Intelligent optimization between digital assets and other real-time payments methods like FedNow & RTP
What our CEO had to say
“For community financial institutions, which provide a significant share of banking services across Montana, offering digital assets alongside traditional banking is the logical next step toward a more integrated view of customers’ financial lives,” said Alex Treece, CEO and co-founder of Stablecore. “Customers shouldn’t have to go beyond their primary financial institution to access the next generation of financial products. Through this partnership, we’re proud to help Montana banks meet that demand and bring digital asset services directly to the communities they serve.”
